virtual reality in progress...

now, i love music just like anyone else, and although when i sing in the shower i make the tiles bend, yes i'm tone deaf, i do know what i like and what i don't... okay, so where am i going with this you ask?
well, last night we got together with some friends at this really nice place called mood, great food, drinks, laughs and quite controvercial and at the same time stimulating conversation ensued... untill... the band showed up... sappy, depressing and too loud... okay there was one good song about a penis... (mind you it was a female singer) it was funny, it went something like "if i had a penis..." then more sappy, depressing songs, she did have a good voice but it was meant for the blues, not the folky rock indie stuff she was trying to lay on our ears... why the blues? because she did one number that was out of this world... and that's it... one number, they played for few hours... one number! too bad... it would have been a perfect night... wait... it was a perfect night, the expressions of my friends while rolling their eyes and covering their ears was... priceless... good times, good times..
