I'd been looking for a flute choir to play with for awhile now. I was playing a theatre gig a few weeks ago when a friend mentioned he needed a sub for a flute choir gig he couldn't do. So I went to a couple of the rehearsals and played the gig last Friday night. We only played for about 20 minutes.....background music for a fundraiser party. It went fairly well, and it seems I have been made a permanent member of the choir. It looks like I will finally be able to break in my contrabass flute this summer.
