Water, Water, Everywhere!

I filled in with the Salem Community Orchestra last Saturday night playing bass clarinet and 2nd clarinet. It was the first symphony gig I'd had in quite a few years. The theme of the concert was "Water, Water, Everywhere!" which is a little ironic as we are still in a major drought. LOL
The Program:
The Moldau, No. 2 from "My Country".........Bedrich Smetana
The Enchanted Lake, Opus 62.................Anatole Liadow
Wohin? (Whither?)...........................Franz Schubert
Am Meer (By the Sea)........................Franz Schubert
La Mer (The Sea) Ballade....................Alexander Borodin
The Fountains of Rome, Symphonic Poem.......Ottorino Respighi
***INTERMISSION***
The Sea, Suite for Orchestra................Frank Bridge
Water Music.................................George Friedric Handel
On The Beautiful Danube.....................Johann Strauss, Jr.
The concert went better than I was expecting....hopefully they will ask me back again in the future.

Possibly a good thing I wasn't there. I'd have been needing the... erm- facilities every few minutes!
