Kingsoft Antivirus 2012 released!

As you may have noticed it from the interface, the antivirus is cloud powered (entirely in fact!), meaning it will query cloud servers to check on the status of the scanned file. It also features cloud based heuristics, behavior analysis and blocking and to keep you secure when offline, it also auto updates local detection database daily.
The things that also stand out a lot are the installer which is one of the quickest i've ever seen in my life. I think that installation took like 2 seconds from clicking Install to actually seeing the interface. The look of interface itself is also interesting. It's a bit cartoonish but very well made, well organized and just looks nice to use. I genuinely like it a lot.
One of the more important things that you may wonder is the detection. Well, Kingsoft has that covered as well. You may want to check languy99 video on Youtube. He reviewed a BETA version of Kingsoft Antivirus 2012 and the results were very impressive for a BETA. And i can confirm that with my own tests during the BETA stage. It shows that China is a massive market with loads of users and that was always one of the most important things for successful cloud detection system. Here is the video...
languy99's review of Kingsoft Antivirus 2012 BETA:
Another good feature about it is compatibility with other security software. It will work alongside other antiviruses without any problems. It's very light so there should be no problems.
There is one exception however...
Kingsoft Antivirus 2012 is NOT compatible with ANY product that is using VIPRE scan engine (GFI, Ad-aware, UnThreat and others).
Make sure to check this on their forums in the future if they have resolved this issue.
