It's getting close and with version 7.0 i'm quite sure it will be brilliant. It's fast to start, fast to operate, standards compliant, has few good features and with extra extensions, you can extend it's very basic feature set that comes out-of-the-box. With Xmarks now giving you ability to cross sync different browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari or IE, it's an ideal choice now. You can have Chrome on low end netbook, Firefox on main PC and Safari on Mac. And they can all sync together. Throw in AdBlock that is also becoming better and better in Chrome and you have a very god browsing experience all around.
Only thing that i really miss in Chrome now are Live Feeds, like those in Firefox (which can even be synchronized through Xmarks). This is now really the only thing holding me back from using Chrome. And syncing of search engines (which can also be done through Xmarks in Firefox).
But other than that i'll be having hard time deciding what to use. Syncing makes this a bit easier so you can have all browsers installed which quickly share important data between themself.
