"TO SHI BA" !!!!!!

Just as the word "Kamikaze" struck fear and terror into the hearts of the allied forces during World War II, now should the equally terrifying word "Toshiba" make you want to jump into the nearest foxhole cowering with abject horror . Kamikaze meant suicide or divine wind....Toshiba makes one want to commit hari kari after their fateful purchase.
Yes folks, after just two years of owning my 2,000 dollar HDTV (Horribly Disgusting Tele Vision) the panel has gone. Not even Toshibas authorized dealer will come out to look at it. Seems they new right away what the problem was and wished me "good luck". Those wonders of the customer service world whom Toshiba Canada hired to supposedly appease the masses haven't done diddly squat for me since my first attempt at contacting them back in May.
Attempts at communicating via their Facebook page have been as equally unproductive. But I do believe I got a head bob or two along with a bow. Appears also that I'm not the only one out there who has been left to do the paying customer death march. I've read dozens of complaints about the effectiveness of Toshiba's support. This is just my opinion, but did Toshiba executives go to the same dojo of higher learning as Toyota? Are they all sitting on the same pile of money somewhere smiling and playing BattleShip?
When the time comes for your next purchase using your hard earned money.....take my word for it, go Samsung...
Until my next post.....have a Toshiba-less day.
