NY Post Defends Cartoon, Slams Al Sharpton
Here's the full statement by Col Allan, editor-in-chief of the Post:
"The cartoon is a clear parody of a current news event, to wit the shooting of a violent chimpanzee in Connecticut. It broadly mocks Washington's efforts to revive the economy. Again, Al Sharpton reveals himself as nothing more than a publicity opportunist."

Ok, I know my latin quote means "Gloria is sick and won't be back til monday"
but it looks swishier than your english quote.
How are the LAWNS in California doing? We discussed that, but if things change and the state budget is still unbalanced call me and I'll call Arnie and remind him what he said about taxes when he was running for King there

(tell Gloria I hope she feels better soon...)

but the quote fit's Gloria's pattern.
On Friday she had called in sick
and told her latin boss named Neek
the latin line and he had said.
"esta malo? - stay in bed".
She went bowling on the Sunday,
met her friends and had a funday.
"Gloria?", said Tracy Trix,
"it's work tomorrow - we say nix!
Let's all meet at Sally Soo's,
scoff some ice cream, drink some booze!
and she will call your boss and say
you won't be in until Tuesday"
But Gloria had stayed at school
until Grade 4 and was no fool.
She knew her boss would never fall
for that old line - it wasn't cool.
So Gloria went back to work
on Monday and that pleased the jerk.
