My message in a bottle

The Light of Day

, ,

I live a troublesome life. But don't we all?

It's all about finding the things which will open our minds in appreciation - in order not to close our minds in defence.

As the regulars here on Allan's Weblog will know, the beach close to my home is a mind-opener to me, as well as an eye opener.

Here's a photograph from early this morning. Frost in the air biting my cheeks, my lungs gorging in unpolluted air and my eyes watering from the cold - but maybe also from gratitude. Think about it; we're allowed to live in all this for a while!

I love this picture. thanks fr sharing Allan. Its great to be able to see this, being living in a 'concrete jungle' this is very refreshing to me.

Your photo reminds me of those days a long time ago when I would go to the beach. The beach has always tended to pull my soul at both ends like a rubber band being stretched!

Another great photo.

I have always been mesmerized by water. And it is odd that I live in the desert where there is little. So, when I see a photo of a beach, the sea, the ocean, a waterfall or a river, I sit and stare a bit and daydream. Eventually, I can feel myself there. Thanks Allan.

That is a gorgeous photo. I might have to get my own camera out and start taking photos again...

It's just like the shoreline where I live. I can feel that cold dampness in the photo.

Very beautiful and just bringing the quietness and calmness of the beach in november into the picture...though the sky is wild....

I have a love for the sea myself but rarely get there in the morning.
Fabulous work
