My message in a bottle

Young mother seeking baby's dad

Isn't this what I always claimed? Anything can be found on YouTube. Even daddy.

Wow. I find myself rooting for her. I hope for the little one, that the father sees this. If you think about it, this is a pretty good idea. Youtube has become a way to reach anyone with a computer all over the world.

Somebody here in Denmark is talking about whether this is a fake thing. A viral communication thing of some sort.

To me it looks genuine enough.

Angeliki 12. September 2009, 23:36

oh my! speechless and it doesn't happen to me often!

muse 13. September 2009, 00:09

It looks genuine to me, but there's always a chance it's fake. I hope that if it is real there will be an update.

She has an excellent command of the English language, even to using slang correctly.

If it's real, I hope she finds the little one's father.

Damn! I wish it was me! She's a lovely girl and seems to be very sweet. And the boy is very cute.

Any road, I hope whoever she finds is worthy of her and the boy.

I hope the father will see this and will have enough sense to contact her and have a family. Baby deserves to have a both parents

I used to have a baby. But I think the dingo ate my baby.

An entirely plausible scenario, but strange to see in such a video. Unsettling for sure.

According to Danish mainstream media, it now seems that this is a viral commercial launched by VisitDenmark, a tourist organization.

http://www.visitdenmark.com/uk/en-gb/menu/turist/turistforside.htm

Now everybody is discussing if this is a proper way to sell our country. Lying to people and claiming that Danish women will get laid just like that.

Well, well...

Edward Piercy 13. September 2009, 21:40

Maybe they should just have gone with a video of Kirsten Dunst wearing a bikini and standing by the little mermaid.

That would certainly work for me at least.

Richard 13. September 2009, 21:51

Definitely an odd way of attracting tourists! But it certainly got attention.

Edward Piercy 13. September 2009, 22:09

That might very well work also. p:

The video has bee critisized to the extend that the creators have removed it from YouTube.

Uncool.

Lego, Baltic beaches, the bridge to Malmö, teutonic food, blondinkis... Does Dansk really need a tourist board?
