Nothing's New Under The Sun
Saturday, 3. May 2008, 18:00:06
It's not that there are new and revolutionary things happening in my life. No, on the contrary.
Business as usual.
It's just that it's summer. It started today - at approximately the same time as it does every year. But nevertheless it's a wonderful miracle. I am in awe. One month ago, my world was cold, grey and rainy. Now it's warm, filled with colur and sunshine.
I won't ramble along about this. Everyone knows what summer is like - even though Scandinavians might value it higher than most others.
No - as the photography-nerd that I am, I will post a photo taken in my garden late afternoon today.
Here you go. It's filled with summer.

Summer indeed. Mowed my lawn for the first time this year.
Took a stroll round the garden. Thinking about things to do this summer.
Garden things. Wonder how many of them actaully will be done.
Anyway. The garden is there, and I will be in it. Enjoying family, friends, campfire, barbeque, late summernights and more.
hmmmmm. Summer :-)

Hi Allan!
Nice picture....but I wonder how it´s made..did you do something with Photoshop ? I think two of the tulips are very much alike...same yellow pattern in the middle.......or am i wrong?

I needed that extra tulip to make the photo balance.
Very observant

I'm happy for you.
Here's an interesting hypothetical question:
What if the axis of the Earth were tilted 90 degrees, like that of Uranus?
I imagine that the seasons would be the same. But the equator would run north to south, and the ice caps would be someplace like South America and the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

In that case we would be growing tulips in Greenland, Edward.
