My message in a bottle

Swimming In Air

,

During these days of
being dragged to the ground
I look to the birds

I want, I wish
to spread my wings and fly
lift off from the ground

To happily forget
what heavily weighs me down
swimming in air

Having only one thing
on my previously troubled mind
- where to catch a fish

I like this very much Allan. To me, very deep words coming from you as I read between the lines. You lighten it with your last line "where to catch a fish" that made me smile.

Let's hope it's a fish ... and not some garbage thrown away from the human world.

nice poem smile. The bird on your photo seems very free, can spread his wings and fly whenever he wants ... smile

der WandersmannderWandersmann Wednesday, July 15, 2009 2:11:23 PM

No bird has ever solved a problem that he could fly away from.

Thank you, all commenters.

Wandersmann, sorry - I may be a bit slow, but I don't think I get your drift. Would you care to elaborate? It sounds interesting.
