Another New Crop Circle: The 08/08/08 Crop Circle
Sunday, 10. August 2008, 02:39:36
Pierre Vinodolac, of the 2012 Changes Are Now blog, in article 08/08/08 Crop Circle relates of the August 8, 2008 crop circle:
Photo of the crop circle seen from the air
On the eighth day of the eighth month of the eighth year of the twenty first century the number eight appears in one of the fields of Wiltshire.
The number eight is a very meaningful number to the Chinese as it is also to many religions of the world.
The sheer scale of this formation is a wonder to behold. Many people were walking among its many circles in awe and wonder.
Pierre Vinodolac's biography reveals that during a flight to Colombo one evening, he together with the airline Captain, observed a very strange and bright light over the Indian ocean; he is convinced that what he had witnessed was a UFO; ever since, he has been on own a personal quest to find answers to that amazing phenomenon.
God's math is revealed in scripture; here are biblical references to the number eight
** ... In bible numerology, eight is re-generation, a new beginning or a commencement: eight is a new "first", e.g. octave in music, days of the week, etc. Eight and its multiples are associated with all that has to do with the names of God.
**) ... In bible scripture the number, eight is the number of new beginnings: 8 people on Noah's Ark (2 Pet. 2:5)
**) ... God made eight covenants with Abraham.
**) ... The physician Luke reveals that Jesus was circumcised on the eight day (Luke 2:21).
**) ... BibleLight, in article On What Day Was Jesus Born?, relates that Jesus was circumcised on the eighth and last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, a Sabbath day. The Jews today consider this a separate festival from Tabernacles, and they call it Shemini Atzeret.
Of note, the Feast of Tabernacles is an eight day feast that begins on the Fifteenth of Tishri. (Leviticus 23:33-34), (Leviticus 23:36), (Leviticus 23:39) and (Leviticus 23:42-43) and the Feast of Trumpets is celebrated on the First of Tishri (Leviticus 23:23-25)
The Feast of Tabernacles is followed closely on the Day Of Atonement.
Based on the scriptural evidence, a case can apparently be made that Jesus Christ was born on the 15th day of the month of Tishri, on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, which corresponds to the September - October timeframe of our present calendar and not on Christmas day.
The time when Jesus presented himself as King was on April 6, 32 A.D. (8 Nisan 3792 in the Jewish Calendar) Minus 33 Jewish years = March 11, 2 B.C. ( 8 Nisan 3759 ) Remember there was no year 0. If we take into account the birth occurred on or near 15 Tishri we get = Sept 22, 3 B.C. (15 Tishri 3759) Sept 22, 3 B.C. (15 Tishri 3759 ) - April 6, 32 A.D. (8 Nisan 3792) = 33 1/2 years.
It is also interesting to note the Tabernacles was a feast of ingathering of the Harvest (Exodus 23:16) and (Exodus 34:22). If Jesus' first coming was indeed on 15 Tishri, the first day of Tabernacles, then it is quite reasonable to presume that the harvest of this earth, the ingathering of the second coming of Jesus Christ, will also occur on precisely the same date. The unknown factor would be the year that this would happen.
** ... The article, The Seven Annual Sacred Feasts of the Old Covenant, relates that the official calendar of the covenant people was a lunar calendar, and was designated by a religious or liturgical calendar which began in the spring with the month of Nisan or the civil calendar which began in the month of Tishri in the early fall and provided for New Moon Feasts, Sabbath Year Feasts, Jubilee Feasts.
National Feasts inaugurated by the people and not by Yahweh: Purim (Adar = February/March), which celebrates the salvation of the Jews from gentile persecution in the Book of Esther (Esther 9:18-32).
Hanukkah (or Chanukah), celebrated in the month of Kislev (December). The feast of the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem described in 1 Maccabee 4:52-59 and 2 Maccabee 10:6-8. Purim and Hanukkah are not festivals ordained by God but are instead festivals proclaimed by the people to celebrate an historical event which demonstrated God’s divine intervention and protection of the Covenant people. Jesus observed the Feast of Hanukkah in John 10:22.
I celebrate the eighth feast that being the body of Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:16-17) . And in doing so I do as Xenos fellowship relates, I enter God's Rest.
**) ... By gematria JESUS makes 888. Eight is the number of new life or "resurrection". It is the personal number of Jesus. When we add together the letter values of the name Jesus in the Greek we get 888. Jesus was called The Christ, the numeric value of this title is 1480 (185 x 8). He was Savior which has the value 1408 (2 x 8 x 88).
**) ... 888 - The Number of Jesus
**) ... Jesus is 8880 and He is the anti-thesis of The Beast, that is the Sovereign (Revelation 13:5-9), whose gematria is 666, (Revelation 13:18), he is the other prince who will come.
**) ... The Number 888 is a most symmetrical Number - it can be reflected, inverted, and have its digits permuted - all with no change in its appearance. This coheres with God's use of this Number when He declared He eternal unchanging nature, saying (Malachi 3.6) I am the Lord, I change not. The exact words written are: I Am The Lord I Change Not which numerically is 888.
**) ... Jesus appeared to Thomas, the doubter, on the eight day after his resurrection.
**) ... Eight represents material accomplishment: money, material freedom, business, high finance, control, power, success, achievement, recognition, profit, executive ability, management, authority, fairness, and responsibility.
**).... Bible prophecy reveals, that on the eight day, God, will create the new heaven and the new earth
... yes, on the eight day, He will make all things new(Revelation 21:1)
**)... The Christian holy day Pentecost falls on the eight Sunday.
**) ... Christ was raised, that is resurrected, on the eight day (Mark 16:2).
**) ... Eight is the number of the perfection, the infinity. In mathematics the symbol of the infinity is represented by a 8 laid down.
**) ... In the Lord's conversation with Nicodemus, on the subject of the new birth, the word "born" occurs eight times (John 3:2-8).
In the statement, "So is everyone that is born of the Spirit," the word "born" occurs the eighth and last time. The original Greek uses eight words. There are eight Greek words in the statement, "and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit." (John 3:6) There are also eight Greek words in the statement, "and every one that loveth is born of God," (1 John 4:7).
Colossians 3:9 shows eight things are connected with the new man. A believer receives new birth through the divine (new) nature of God.
There were eight people in the ark for the purpose of replenishing the earth after the flood. (1 Peter 3:20)
In Ezekiel 36:26, God said to Israel, "A new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you:" When three, (the resurrection) is added to five (grace) they total eight, which represents new birth. This represents the new heart and spirit that only He can place within us.
God allows us to rest on the seventh day so that He can give us something new on the eighth day. In the Spirit, we should always be resting with God because He always has something New for us. Just like His Mercy is new each day!
