For all those people who live under a rock...
On June 1st of this year (June 1,2011) Microsoft revealed their Windows 8 WIP
(work-in-progress) and from that time to now (middle of October) it seems that
there has been a lot of negativity with the new "Metro" look of Windows.
For those people who hate the new look to the point of killing, chillax, during
the month of September it was announced that Windows 8 would have also have the
old desktop layout.

I'm gonna squeeze in a little personal opinion here: I think it's fantastic.
I am absolutely thrilled by this new look, it's time to move forward.
But others, however, don't share my opinion. Windows Live president Steven Sinofsky,
has recently admitted that there have been a huge amount of negativity towards
the new Windows 8 Start Screen UI (user interface).
According to Steven Sinofsky, the negative talk is a natural reaction to change
but if they want Microsoft to change things, that is definitely not the way
to do it.
We've seen some small amount of visceral feedback focused on 'choice' or
'disable'--a natural reaction to change, but perhaps not the best way to have a
dialogue leading to a new product
But despite what he said it does look like Microsoft is listening to those angry
douche-holes (sorry, I meant to write "people").
We have been following all of the comments and responding as much as we can.
We know major changes like this can be controversial and we are looking forward to
continuing this dialog with you.
In response to people complaining about how hard it would be to find their programs
because they don't know the name of the program they want to run (WTF?). So now:

The new Apps screen would make it easier to organize and find your programs.

Back to my own personal view, I know some people are griping about the new look,
but you really should give it a chance. Windows 8 isn't even done yet and other
than that, this is Microsoft we're talking about. They will come through for us.
Stay hungry, stay foolish.

Screw you. And your mom. And then you, again.
Why the hell would you mod the game? There can only be so many reasons, the first one being:
That's right. You read that correctly, you SUCK at CoD.
What happened, huh? Did you get tired of being last?
Did you not get enough recognition?
Where you constantly sitting in the background when those around you kicked so much ass???
Did your guns work for your enemies but for some reason when YOU used them they wouldn't kill them properly?
I know how it feels...but suck it up and die.
Don't mod.
- YOU'RE A CYNICAL SOCIOPATH
But of course, most of you just like power.
Sweet, awesome power. When you hear ppl's outraged voices 'cause they realized they can't kill you.
You like that, don't you?
You seem to hold a position over everyone else, you aren't tied down to the Rules like they are,
they are WEAK.
YOU are the one who makes the rules,
YOU decide whether or not you die.
So to that I say: "No. Bad, modder. Bad. Go back to losing like everyone else, modding a game does not make you God, it makes you 'that one dude who got banned from Xbox Live.'"
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD (or Alah) STOP MAKING TEXT APPEAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN FOR OTHER PLAYERS. I CAN'T SEE! IF YOUR ALL POWERFUL THEN Y DO YOU MAKE IT HARD TO SEE YOU COMING?! WHY, DAMN YOU, WHY???
'Kay so I think that's it....go to hell modders.
My next post is gonna be about Kellog's Corn Flakes and how they can help you in life

Today I went out to get....a JOB! (dun, Dun, DUN!)
It was at the mall, and that was where I had an Epiphany. If I get a job, then I can buy anything I want!
Every game I can't have right now can be mine! Muahahahaha! I can buy a headset for my Xbox 360 so I can talk to ppl; I can buy the kinect Sensor; I can buy myself an Ipad 2! The possibilities are endless (assuming I'm patient enough to save my money for the higher priced thingamabobs
). So I felt this weird "get a job" rush and I filled out some applications and now I'm daydreaming about my future games and crap.
Fuck.....yeah.
I hope I get a job at Gamestop, it looks like an awesome place to work in and I really liked the dude who gave me my application. I would LOVE to work there
I'm so nervous!
Well, that's my blog update: me being senseless and selfish. 'Til next time.
Stay hungry, stay foolish

I just got Assassin's Creed for Xbox yesterday and it was not what I expected. The idea was spot on, after all a game about assassins sounds kick-ass, but I think they messed it up a bit.
The graphics are really good like ppl have said, but not as good as it can be with a "next generation" console.
Ppl keep saying that it's hard to understand the story but it wasn't hard for me at all, what IS hard is trying to READ the words on the game, they're so fucking small I get headaches!
I guess to me the game isn't ridiculously boring, but others seem to think so. It's because (at least so far) throughout the game you basically have to go around a large environment, usually a kingdom
, and gather information for your next assassination
;
as side missions you can go around saving citizens, getting a set number of flags and climbing the tallest buildings so you can get an "eagle eye's view" of the kingdom you're in.
So yeah, it gets boring but unless you just barely got your Xbox 360,
you have other games to play as a break from Assassins Creed.
So my verdict (I hope I'm using that word right...):
3 out of 5 stars
The game may not be what I thought it was but it doesn't meant others see it the same way, still I have to recommend that you rent the game before you buy it...

Yesterday I played Call of Duty: World at War with a
Spanish speaking
chick for the first time. It was hilariously awesome. Every time something surprised her she kept saying "ay, que pedo??" I mean think about it: a SPANISH CHICK playing CALL OF DUTY. That combination has to be rare.
I cannot believe it took me so long to realize how fun online gaming can be! I'm freaking 18! I might get a job JUST so I can keep paying my Xbox LIVE Gold Membership. But for now, getting a job is the last thing on my mind
