Two by Two

"It's a little crazy, isn't it?"

"Oh-ooh." Two rapid vowels, the second held slightly longer, meaning Yes, that's true.

Late Night Revelations

I've come to realize what's at the core of my need to change things. A certain amount is for improvement, and a certain amount is for curiosity, but the bulk of it is dissatisfaction -- not with the thing itself, but with me.

Yield, Evil-doers!

,

I have finished my first day at a new job, and it feels like a good fit. I haven't had that feeling in a few years, to be frank. We work because we have to; it's nice when it seems to suit us.

See now, his first mitake was the words "I.. think." I love the guy, but thinkin' is not his strong suit. He didn't name all four of his kids -- boys and girls -- "George Foreman" because it was cute. He did it so he wouldn't have to remember names.
