Congratulations Lyle on passing the California Bar Examination. About 54 per cent of those who took the exam this time passed.

Congratulations, Lyle and other Whittier Law School grads.

Whittier Law School loves Lyle

, ,

Lyle invited me to assist the judging at his school's moot court competition Saturday. (Go to the Misc photo album and enlarge it if you care to read this letter he sent to the "judges".)

Lyle drafted the problem addressed in the arguments and organized the event, which is used to select the school's team this year. The competitors did well. The "judges" enjoyed hearing the arguments and grading them.

Professor Mark Matthews, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law and BYU Law School graduate sat as a judge with us on the morning panel, and I also met Professor Leary and Professor Mertus. They all love Lyle.

There are a lot of women law students now--probably at least half the student body at Whittier. That's a change from my law school days. I can think of five women in my 1969 graduating class in Chicago.

Anyway, thanks Lyle for the invitation. It was great fun.
