Laughter; A Difficult Concept to Grasp, For Some!!!

I just wanted to stop by and post something for all my friends on Opera.

Just wanted you all (ok most of you) to know that I have really missed the jokes and laughs. I hope that all of your lives are going well and everyone is enjoying themselves.

I managed to make it through another quarter of school. Only 13 million to go. Ok, maybe not that many. But it is going well. I am really looking forward to the chance of a summer break but sadly I think I will be taking a required "intern" class this summer. We will see how it goes.

I have finally broken down and made a decision to do something for a "cause". I am running a marathon for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC). Please view the links listed below for more information.

I have wanted to do a marathon for a long long time. I have never done any sort of road race because well in all honestly I dislike running. Some of you know that I was an ok athlete back in the olden days but all that exercise was done in the pool. Anyway, I turn 40 on October 1st and this is pretty much the last chance to get in a marathon before I hit the big 40. The money that I raise will go to a great cause that doesnt get nearly as much attention as it should in the US. Please visit the links that I posted, it is for a great cause.

On a more person note. I had a visitor for most of my break. Her and I traveled around Chicago and saw the Lincoln Park Zoo, Alder Planetarium, Big Willie which is the new name for the Sears Tower, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Millenium Park, Buckingham fountain and all the wonderful blocks of walking in between. It was a wonderful time and we had a lot of fun. Sadly she flew home on Tuesday and I already miss her. Not so much all her talking though... WOW she could carry on a conversation with a park bench. Yes, she reads this page so that comment was for her... Nothing says charming like my sarcasm....
