It's a heatwave here in Louisiana, and it's hard to cope with. Been over or around 100F for a few days.

I almost came home whiter than when I left Europe, save for a few days of tan in California.
Louisiana temperature's don't drop that much at night either, so it's possible to be almost unable to move 24x7. Whilst there, it was regularly 105/107, though radio stations reported a heat factor that was about 10 degrees hotter, due to other factors.
A few days of this does allow you to get somewhat accustomed, just as you move on, and then feel cold elsewhere, brrrr.
