Hello from Rob

Well I'm got back from the US this past week, managed a 2 days rest - not enough for my jet lag - then went to Prague to celebrate my friend's stag party.

The USA

My final trip leg was over to Louisiana, to stay with a long time friend Roberta. We were penpals from age 11 years! Now, decades later, we are very close friends and see each other every few months in some country or other. In 2005 I spent the New Year with her and we travelled in Italy during the summer time. Our relationship is unique for me, I have mostly lost touch with school age friends.

Prague

Well we drank some, and then some more. We did some tourist stuff too, we visited the castle there and the Palace plus roamed the old city streets. What a great place this is, and a miracle that it's survived in such condition. I travelled with Premisil, a Czech guy, around New Zealand in 1999 and got on well with him. Most Czechs that I meet seem to be sweet interesting people. My friend gets married in the UK in a couple of weeks. His fiancee is lovely and they make a great couple.
