Here on Earth

Here on earth we have guilt,
that strikes us with a pain so deep.
Here on earth, we have fear,
and there are words we can not speak.

Here on earth we all try,
to live day by day,
Here on earth we can feel,
but don't always know what to say.

Here on earth some believe,
there are worlds after this.
Here on earth we don't know,
When we'll die and who we'll miss.

So here on earth, we should all try,
to appreciate those we surround,
Because here on earth ,
they can leave us without a sound.

This - and particularly the ending, has given me goosebumps.

The message is true, clear, simple and honest and the way you have presented this befitting.

Somewhere deep within everyone, I believe knows these things, and yet, when egos get in the way, I guess all one can do is silently hope that there are worlds beyond this where rectifications and reconciliations are possible - where our unfinished business may be completed.

"So here on earth, we should all try,
to appreciate those we surround,
Because here on earth ,
they can leave us without a sound."

robertsglyn1 17. May 2009, 16:06

Hello Glyn
Have you seen this website:
http://www.playingforchange.com/
And this one:
http://www.youtube.com/user/PlayingForChange
Have a nice day

robertsglyn1 4. June 2009, 10:56

Thanks Claude! will take a look now :-)

robertsglyn1 4. June 2009, 11:12

Wow! Wow! Wow! This is superb and ashamed to say new nothing about 'Playing for Change'

Claude thanks for forwarding onto me! :-)...In my hearts and hearts would love to be part of such a 'changing world' :-)

holdowicz-claude 4. June 2009, 12:52

I think that's what we have in our hearts which is important and the rest will follow early or late.

robertsglyn1 4. June 2009, 18:57

Claude...Question's :-)...Where are you hoping the chain of peace will lead? whats the bigger picture?...only asking because i care and want to help! ...Glyn :-)

holdowicz-claude 4. June 2009, 19:45

I imagine it growing from blog to blog by itself. I hope also in other communities blogs and why not, in a such way that our politicians, industrialists, bankers can't pass over :wizard:
Do you have any idea about?
It can also help people who thinks they are alone...

robertsglyn1 4. June 2009, 20:09

Sounds perfect at the level that you have control of 'Opera, communities etc'...on the other hand wouldn't it be great to create a 'drive' that was aimed at the politicians, bankers, industrialists etc in a way that they will fund the ideas that are proposed!...'Playing for Change' to me is brilliant...but could be seen as a missed opportunity without achieving the real point ' funding aimed at peace, poverty and practicalities of life'...I work as a Head of Global Services for a huge company...and maybe a sponsor is a way forward...???,,,what do you think??

holdowicz-claude 5. June 2009, 07:12

Thank you for your enthousiasm, Glyn
How can be the 'drive'? Which content? Any idea?
I think this can be developed but the Peace chain have to be realy more important first. It will let us imagine naturaly the good 'drive' we can make. That will take time. I have seen that not all the people on Opera want to write a post for Peace, even they don't like wars.
Thanks to the ellinidata's blog I have found those websites:
http://www.yespeace.com/
http://www.peacepal.org/
We can inform them about the Peace chain, idem for "Playing for change".
I will ask to l_Artman for some ideas...

robertsglyn1 5. June 2009, 07:25

Thanks Claude! I think its your commitment and enthusiasm that's got my focus and gripped now on how do we make an impression that shows rewards. Interestingly i ready this which gives us focus. This article is not ideal, but intends to change the political approach :-

http://www.peace.ca/worldpeace.htm

What do you think? The reason I'm sending it ' what is our vision o/s Opera? what is our 'Statement'...etc

holdowicz-claude 5. June 2009, 08:42

You know Glyn, as my English is very poor, I haven't read all the webpage you given me the link :frown: Only the tittles and some sentences here and there. However it takes me too much time to read and understand it all :ko:
I think this document is a deep and a very interesting analysis
Why don't put the link in your post here? People reads rarely the comments, but the post yes.

You know, I feel that our hearts lead us more than our minds (how we choose a wife, a destination for holidays, a work, etc.). Because we aren't robots. For me: mental (or mind) analysis is only a tool to help us, no more. So I take care about mind analysis, rules and laws we can create for Peace. If we develop more how to listen our hearts, without any fears, I think we will discover the beauty of our life and the Peace will come naturaly
I know this isn't easy because of fears we have

Glyn if you want, you can now add the heart Peace dove in the right bottom of your blog. Have a look on my updated Peace chain post for the explaination, please

I_ArtMan 5. June 2009, 18:24

the best thing at www.peace.ca is at the end...

"The U.N. needs to adopt a "bill of rights" for nations. " all the rest is clear and thorough thinking, but where to start.

get appointed to the u.n. if you are capable of oratory. then propose a world bill of rights be written.

gnarly questions are along the lines of, if chaos and murder is taking place within a country. do the world police intervene?

http://www.peace.ca/worldpeace.htm

thepoeticangel 5. June 2009, 19:39

THIS IS AWSOME ... I LOVED IT ... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING ~ Angel ~

robertsglyn1 5. June 2009, 19:39

I think there are many approaches and we have to win the hearts and imaginations of 'people' so I applaud the approach of Claude and am fully committed to his and everyone else's 'Chain of Peace'. Its impressive to say the least :-) :D :sing:

However, it would be good if the 'hearts' could be heard beating at a higher level and the results would only encourage more people to join the 'Chain of Peace'. I can only see this happening through the 'U.N. and the Bill of rights'.

'Action speaks louder than words at this level'

We need to drive this campaign also down that route! :D

holdowicz-claude 26. June 2009, 13:12
