Caught up in Kodaikanal

Finally I got out of Bangalore after a long time. Spent about 4 days in Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu and had a real blast. Beautiful place, great weather, superb vistas and staying with some of the most hospitable people was the best part of it.
I stayed with a French family who I know through a friend I made at work. They have been lviing in Kodaikanal for almost 10 odd years. Living with them made me envious cause I realized that even though we live in such a beautiful country we never really are true to our roots while others coming to our country take up our heritage and live according to them.
