Ok before anything else let me say that I have shot wildlife images only a couple of times in places like Mysore, Mangalore and Mandya. I’ve been able to shoot images of Mugger crocodiles at Ranganthittu bird sanctuary (Yes, the lake that you can row across is filled with them), Karanji lake also plays host to a lot of birds because of its calm and serene lake while they have a small aviary inside it too. So with this limited amount of experience let me share
what I have learnt:
1.) Patience
2.) Attentiveness
3.) Season/Knowledge
4.) Silence
5.) Fun

Personal, work, Rant
This is a question that has plagued me ever since I started working. My first job was for a news channel here in Bangalore. I was a crime reporter, I enjoyed my work and put in many hours of work everyday to become the best at my work. Then 3 months into this dream job I quit. I took my salary and walked out. Why? Well because I was tired of the management and the way they treated me there (proof that I wasn't the only person who felt this way? The day after I walked out 15 others did the same and people still keep walking in and out of this organization).
After taking a break for a month I got a new job. The first 4 months were the best thing ever but then suddenly everything changed, I don't know for sure what made things change but they did. Things got worse and now I've decided I've had enough. So next month I put in my papers, again I make this choice because of the terrible management.
My friend Varun said it best, "Managements job is to either convince or confuse!", I can't help but agree.

Family, Memories, Past, Train

Since I've come down to India in 2005 I've been waiting to take a train somewhere. Unfortunately either I could never get a ticket on the days that I wanted or the trips usually got cancelled even before going to the train station!
My last ride on a train in India was back in 1998 or so when I gone to Goa with my family. I still remember parts of the journey in small flashes and I remember how much it was passing through those long. cold and dark tunnels. I remember holding a small comic book outside the window though my parents told me not to and having it just pulled away by a sudden forceful wind (I must have been a damn weak kid!)
So yes I miss the rush of sitting in a little dinky carriage and passing though beautiful vistas. I am sure I'll remember a lot more about the few trains journeys I have had in India once I am on a train. Big plans are underway and I hope to be on a train going somewhere soon!

Hello everyone,
Thanks to all of the people who visit this blog and leave comments I have decided to move on and launch my own
