Raksha Bandhan

,

I have no idea why this festival is celebrated, but I think that it is really cool. Ever since I was a small kid I have been getting a Rakhi from my sister no matter where I have been. I am looking forward to checking my email to see if she has sent me an e-Rakhi this time around since she is in Australia and I highly doubt that you can get Rakhis in Perth.

Anyways I got a bunch of Rakhi's today from a couple of cool girls from my class.

I like Shruti's best... even though the only reason I got one from her was cause I wanted her to know that I wasn't at all interested in her. Sowmya's was really nice too and so were Rupa's and Anita's.

I will have to treat them to something worthwhile tomorrow. Chocolates should do the trick... ha ha.

So unlike what most people expected to happen, Shalini did not tie me a Rakhi. I am sure that a lot of people had some bets placed on that possibility. Sorry to disappoint you.. punks..
