Opera 9 - Your Web, Your Choice
This is my 5th year since I switched to Opera. At the time, I just wanted to get rid of as much of my Microsoft stuff as possible. Now I am enjoying it as it improves over the years from v5.0 to now 9.0. It has addressed many of the common concerns the average surfer has and has become not just an alternative for Microsoft haters like myself, but a well-worth browser of its own right. That is why I am writing this page. I wish to write about how Opera has changed my [net] life. There are tonnes of articles out there systematically comparing features of Opera with other browsers, reviewing them, etc. So, I am not going to repeat the good stuff people (for those who want detailed, comprehensive reviews, read my section of links below "Why Opera?") have done. I will share my experience using Opera from a user perspective and more from a personal perspective.

Things I like about Opera
  • Feeds
  • Widgets
  • Tabbed browsing
  • Pop-up control
  • Tiling
  • Full-screen viewing
  • Dynamic zooming
  • Light weight
  • Compatibility

I will come back to update this entry when I have time. Do come back to read this.
