a new perspective

"So, I try to do one new thing every day--if its picking up a book by an unfamiliar author or even sitting in a different chair with my morning coffee, if only to see my house from a fresh perspective to keep the mind alert and alive." --Letty Cottin Pogrebin

I thought I was misreading.

I try to do the same thing every day: do something different.

by doing something different at least everyday spices up your life, if only a smidge

That's what I hope for

Although, lately I am trying to change that... I said once to myself: "Why don't we try today... to just abandon all hope for everything?"

{ironmaiden} 19. October 2007, 17:47

abandon all hope? is it just me or does it sound vaguely like Abandon hope all ye who enter here....the supposed entrance to hell...get the picture?!

yes, I know, xterm is crappy software...

hehehe... sorry for the detour. Yes, It does mean that, but not totally related. What I said is "There is nothing else to be worried about, so let's enjoy life!"

{ironmaiden} 20. October 2007, 00:32

the worries of life does put a damper on the enjoyment of it i guess

Life is like a box of chocolates...

nonono... wait. Somebody said that already...

Life is my ultimate way to understand relativity. So, from my point of view, hope is the same as desire, and I am guided by non-desire. As a consequence, I try to not to have any hope, so I do not have desires, and as such I will never be sad for not having what I wanted or hoped for.
