rose-marie 27. October 2008, 14:18

Do you need the smelling salts? :left: p:

Moesring 27. October 2008, 15:37

 I wish I could understand what the person is trying to say. Maybe I should go to their house and ask them in person. :left:

rose-marie 27. October 2008, 16:45

 Don't do it Moe! We like you in one piece!

Moesring 27. October 2008, 16:48

But... if you like me in one piece, surely you'd like me twice as much in two pieces?

That way, you could have a piece of your own and someone else can have the other piece.

rose-marie 27. October 2008, 16:51

Hmmm... but if somebody else had the other piece, I'd still like you like you'd be in one piece, but it would only be half of you :frown:.

Stomyr 27. October 2008, 17:13

xD

gdare 27. October 2008, 18:19

rose-marie 28. October 2008, 07:35

Stomyr - :D

Darko - Interesting how that is the one sentence that is correct !

Carol - *sniff sniff* <- That should do it :D.

Cois - I'd like that on my door sometimes p:.

Dacotah 28. October 2008, 12:52

This reminded me when I was new at a certain company. This guy came up to me, introduced himself and we chatted for a while. After he left, this Vietnamese lady nearby, goes, "Carlos! Don't listen to him! Don't listen to him! He Evil! He Evil!" I thought to myself, "Oh Shit! What the heck is this guy into? What have I gotten myself into?" So, I go and ask this friend of mine, "Hey, man, what's up with that dude, Erik? He came up to me and engaged me in conversation. And now Loan over there is telling me that he is Evil." My friend just laughs and goes, "Ehhh, Loan just didn't know the right word to use. Nah! Erik's NOT Evil. He's just a Snitch and a Backstabber. You have to watch everything you say in front of him cuz he WILL snitch and / or use it against you or to his advantage."

flamingo-rinse 29. October 2008, 02:21

'Bangalow' surely is supposed to mean 'Bungalow'. The origin of this word lies in the English Midlands, circa late 1800s. A builder and his team were constructing a house when unfortunately it started to rain. Concerned about the woodwork and plastering work already done, the team asked the builder what they should do in order to prevent rain damage. He told his team to "just bung a low roof on".

rose-marie 29. October 2008, 08:37

Sarah - I know! Poor person awww

Carlos - :D That does sound evil p:.

Nick - Really? I had no idea that's where the word comes from...
:sst: I just thought it was some asian word.

flamingo-rinse 29. October 2008, 20:13

No - not really. Just an amusing(?) story :D It's really a corruption of an Indian word

Zaphira 29. October 2008, 20:32

I liked the first story better!

rose-marie 29. October 2008, 21:32

Homer: Doh! I agree, the first story was way more amusing (despite the fact that my assumption was correct p:).

Rapunzel 30. October 2008, 17:34

He doesn't even know me! I bet he'd like me, bet he would. I'm with Moesring and Cois. We go meet them, if there's no cuppa tea, then we steal the sign.
Morning Rose.

rose-marie 31. October 2008, 07:24

I bet he'd like you too. I bet he'd like you so much, he'd keep you locked up in his bungalow with a grouchy sign outside scaring away anybody trying to save you .

Rapunzel 31. October 2008, 20:27

No, No, anything but the bungalow!

Heh no worry's I'm a modern day Rapunzel, I could always..
Strangle him with my hair

rose-marie 31. October 2008, 20:45

 No wonder he's in a bad mood .

flamingo-rinse 31. October 2008, 22:09

In a bizarre and unlikely scenario, he might cut Rapunzel's hair, freeze the trimmings into a short, sharp knife-like implement and kill himself by means of Hairy Kiri. If his mood was that bad...

rose-marie 1. November 2008, 10:04

Himself? I think this guy would have a go at anybody but himself :insane:.

Rapunzel 1. November 2008, 18:04

Hairy Kiri...don't tell me; he does it while singing opera?!

rose-marie 3. November 2008, 09:12

I had to read that over and over before I finally got it Homer: Doh!

flamingo-rinse 3. November 2008, 20:24

Even more bizarrely - the whole thing could be re-written as an episode of The Sopranos....(don't know if that's worth a ....)

rose-marie 4. November 2008, 07:53

Ok, now you lost me awww

gdare 4. November 2008, 08:21

rose-marie 4. November 2008, 16:17

Lots of hilarities there

Rapunzel 4. November 2008, 17:29

Rose you did very well with such an obscure reference to Kiri Te Kanawa. Mr Rinse is just getting flashy now.
Perhaps he's had lights tailored into his suit for Christmas.
Morning you :D

rose-marie 4. November 2008, 20:53

Why thank you :o:. And top of the morning to you too :D.

Nick flashing in a Christmas suit, ey... Am I the only one hoping for pics? :left:.

That's an amazingly good idea and has become my plan for the festive season :D

Rose - sorry about the obscure reference to Kiri Te Kanawa, NZ'er Soprano  not my intention to confuse - got too flashy, as Rapunzel quite rightly observed

rose-marie 4. November 2008, 21:07

No worries, I know of Kiwi Kiri. Now stop talking yourself out of the flashing and its photographic evidence :irked:.

Zaphira 4. November 2008, 21:07

I want pics too! awww

rose-marie 4. November 2008, 21:13

Don't worry... I'm sure they will be everywhere

Rapunzel 6. November 2008, 17:47

A Christmas Rinse...every home should have one
