Luckily most of it is gone already here too :yes:
Snow can be beautiful to look at, but not in the city. It turns all brown/grey/slushy and isn't nice to your shoes :down:.
Also, it's not very easy to walk on slushy snow p:.
Oh, and because it means winter is right around the corner awww.

I can see winter as beautiful too, but I really don't like being cold. That's why I'm not very fond of it. I manage, though :wink:.

I agree with the cold part, it's really bitter here right now. But I prefer to be cold than hot anyway.

Look at it from a bright side: because of a global warming approximately the half of a winter will be warmer than usual; the remaining half will be 2/3 only rain with some wind; the rest will be snowy days, but at least half of it will last only for a few days; but.... remaining 7 days will be cold to remember P:

You'd have to take into consideration that global warming will affect the Gulf Stream, which is the only thing keeping us alive up here...

Sorry about that snow there, Rose-Marie. I'm not fond of it either. Fortunately, Seattle doesn't get a lot.

When we do, though, everything just stops. It's awesome!

Here, everything stops when it is -20C with strong wind and rain that turns to ice on the ground. Of course, only if you stay at home. Down on the street I can guarantee you a lot of speed :lol:
But it happens only once in a few years.

James & Darko - Everything stopped here yesterday. I think the worst weather is when it's around 0°C and it rains/snows.
Yesterday there was ice on the motorway, leading to long queues and quite a few accidents. This happens every year - people are never ready for the first snow and still drive around on their summer tires :rolleyes:.

It's true! I read the other day that one of the subway lines in Oslo is completely paralyzed due to falling leaves.
Don't they know that that's what happens during autumn? :rolleyes:

It sounds as if the companies in our two countries have the same problems.
And in the summer, it's because it's so warm that the trails are getting bigger, which cause trains have to go slower. Aw come on! :lol:
