I finally got around to nominating people in these different categories:

Best blog by a female
Best blog by a male
Most helpful Opera forum member
Best blog design
Top photographer
Best Opera blog

The contents of the list might expand :wizard:.

Right. With that out of the way, this post can go on being a poor excuse for finally posting a picture of the plastic fantastic purple shoes I bought on a market in Italy.
What...? It's been asked for :left: p:.

I've been frugal with nominations as it's hard to pick a best in some categories. And there's some categories that I can't even comment on such as most helpfull forum member. I haven't been back to the forums for a long time. p: .

Best blog about Opera has to be Tamil. No-one else is even in his league. Apart from that it's a close competition if you go on merit. But it'll probably turn into another popularity contest where most helpful forum member has never posted in the forums and best blog design is using a basic Opera design. The nominations so far reflect that, especially in the forums category.

Carol - The pleasure is all mine, really :heart:. And I agree it's really difficult to choose only three. That's why I accidentally chose four in one category.

PJ - You like the shoes? I can't get used to them, but everywhere I look in the shops now it's purple, so maybe I can wear them and be hip this winter :lol:

Aadil - I haven't voted in all categories either. I don't have any opinion on who the biggest fan is, for instance.

Mik - Unfortunately, I think you are right about the popularity contest. Like Mart pointed out elsewhere, you see the same people being nominated in all categories - or even worse - nominating themselves in all categories :rolleyes:.

Cois - You call my nominees assasins? :eyes: p:

About the most Out There shoes I can recall having are these Bright YELLOW Sports Shoes with Green Trim back in the 80s. I think at night they probably illuminated at least a city block. :lol:
