Play/Pause

,

My cousin (who is a hardcore Mac-er) got a baby son a few days ago.
I simply couldn't resist getting him this:

Isn't it cute? I just hope the pause button works p:.

I love finding unique gifts like that.

Phantom2 13. January 2009, 22:18

I like the three "delete" buttons at the bottom!

rose-marie 13. January 2009, 22:40

Darko - I think so too :D.

Herm - I love finding things that fits so perfectly. Makes it extra fun to give

Phantom - That's when you hope the fast forward button is operational!

flamingo-rinse 13. January 2009, 23:28

 ...and you also hope that rewind doesn't actually mean 'fill back up with wind'

theoddbod 13. January 2009, 23:58

I'm more intrigued by 'menu' :sherlock:

Dacotah 14. January 2009, 00:10

Moesring 14. January 2009, 07:20

I want to know what the menu does as well. :D

rose-marie 14. January 2009, 07:48

Nick - What an awful thought!

Mart - I bet there are unlimited possibilites depending on the father's programming skills .

Carol - Thanks :D.

Zap - I think so too. Unfortunately the smallest size was 6-12 months, but at least he'll have something to look forward too .

Aadil - Exactly. That kid is going to be ultra modern when he grows up. My cousin already stated that he's getting one of the macs as soon as he's big enough (which means in a couple of years).

Moe - I bet there's at least an alarm p:.

Dacotah 14. January 2009, 08:03

:D

qlue 14. January 2009, 08:38

The alarm has permanent factory settings that make it go off every four hours for the first six months.

rose-marie 14. January 2009, 08:44

Exactly

Unfortunately, the wiring is a bit off, and is also connected with the three "delete" buttons :left:.

Moesring 14. January 2009, 08:45

I thought you meant an alarm in case someone is foolish enough to want to steal it. :o:
:left:

wickedlizard 14. January 2009, 09:23

That is so cool! Love it!

rose-marie 14. January 2009, 09:29

Moe - Who'd want to steal a screaming poop machine

Issy - Thanks :D.

Mik - I forgot to answer you earlier... I was so sure you'd say it iSucked or something like that p:.

Moesring 14. January 2009, 12:37

Someone who wants a screaming poop machine, obviously.

I'll say it iSucks if you want. :D

Nothing against Apple. They make fine products in their areas. As long as they stay out of my area I'll leave them be.

The iPhone itself could have been a spectacular product. Instead it rested on it's laurels and actually took away from the basic phone feature set instead of adding to it. Hardware wise all it needs is a better camera and decent bluetooth radio installed and it'd be an amazing phone. It's the software and illegal network exclusivity that really cripples it, making it about a third as powerful as it could have been. And that's why I hate it. Because it could've been so much more but they turned off most of it's potential.

Cois 14. January 2009, 15:41

Well if you're sick of it you can always throw it in the trash

rose-marie 15. January 2009, 09:05

Moe - Who would want that
p:

Mik - I don't know enough about the iPhone... But exclusivity has been sort of a trademark for Apple products. However, a few days ago, Apple finally announced that they are removing the copy protection in iTunes, meaning people can finally use legally downloaded/bought music in any MP3-player

Cois - The iBaby? :eyes:

Cois 15. January 2009, 12:07

rose-marie 16. January 2009, 10:30
