Hi peeps :love:

Just a short note to let you know that I'm back in one piece.
It will take a while to get through my 117 watches - especially considering some of you have been posting very actively the last three weeks :faint:.

Here's a few things I have done the last three weeks (in no particular order):
* bought a parasol :left:
* got my bikini bottom knocked off by some quite vicious waves :yikes:
* visited Pompei. It took me three hours to get there, and it included two buses and three trains. I think I can safely say I am now familiar with the Italian railways :yes:.
* ate lots of good food :chef:
* experienced a world record attempt (as many people as possible bathing in the sea at the same time after midnight) :cool:
* luckily managed to avoid a landslide :eyes:
* totally missed out on the Olympics :alien:
* walked up this hill to get to the temple on the top :cool:
* had a few Bellinis :cheers:
* bought my first ever (that I know of) pair of purple shoes :left:
* relaxed :happy:

Anyways - this is my first day back at work today and things are crazy. By the looks of it, it will stay that way for a while so please don't worry if it takes a few days before I reach your blog. I'll get there sooner or later.

This year Ramadhaan falls exactly with september. I won't have time to be online. During the day, I'll be at work. and in the evenings I'll be attending prayers. So you won't see me around for thirty days. awww

Mik - I hope you will someday! It was absolutely amazing. I spent well over four hours wandering around the ruins there, and I only saw about half the area. I'll have to back again :yes:

Tilla :heart:! Thank you. Yes, purple is special to say the least. Especially when the sun shines :lol:. They won't be my everyday shoes but I couldn't resist them. And for €5 they were a bargain :D. They have a metal star on the big toe :lol:

Heya Moe! Thanks :D. I took me about an hour to climb that hill. I walked up from the side where it wasn't quite as steep p:. I'll see if I can find a picture later.
Eating, having Bellinis and shopping for shoes isn't exactly what I would call hectic :lol: p:.

Yes, José - it was in the ocean :o:. Luckily, I had my back turned towards the sea so I at least I wasn't flashing the entire beach :yikes:

Hmm... Just noticed I haven't answered on a couple of questions...

Moe - Bellinis are better in the summertime :D.

José - Yes, that temple used to be in honour of the Roman god Jupiter. I could still make out a faded fresco in one of the chamber ceilings that was still intact. Pretty amazing!
