We have had some really good weather this weekend, with temperatures above 15 in the sun, and a nice sunny sky. Getting a Wii on Thursday (:hat: ) wasn't enough to keep me indoors today, so maybe you can imagine how starved I've been for sun and warmth...

Not very far from where I live, there's an old mini golf course. Or... I don't know if it's old, but the lanes sure are. Full of cracks and a little rough, but I don't know - maybe that's supposed to be charm.

There were actually quite a few people playing:


...and me and my companion decided to go a round too. How it went? Well, I think this picture pretty much says it all:

Afterwards, I treated the winner to Italian ice cream and it made my annoying loss a bit easier to handle :happy:.

It was fun playing mini golf, as I haven't done it in a while, and I'm pretty sure I'll be spending some more time there.
But... If I tell you that I've bought my own club and balls, please talk me out of it!

I haven`t played it for a years now. It seems you really enjoyed this nice weather - with ice cream, like in summer :D

Darko - I did enjoy the weather very much, and so did the rest of Oslo, I think. I went to a park close to my home and there were lots of people spread out on the grass there. Some had even started this year's grilling season :D.

Kimmie - It was a fun day and my mood seems to get better this time of year :heart:.
And yay! for the Wii. I'm having so much fun, and I haven't even bought games for it yet :lol:

I love playing minigolf too, but I hate it when I loose. :bomb: Anyway, I have never played on a lane that wasn't full of holes and cracks. :irked:

Mmmm.... That Italian gelato was indeed yummy :happy:

As for losing... I'm a little ashamed to say that I'm a really bad loser, but I might be an even worse winner :o:

I love mini golf :D. When I was a kid and my family went on holiday, all I cared about was whether there'd be table tennis and mini golf :happy:.

I briefly had the course record on a course in Zwiesel (Germany) :D.

The course record on the place I went to today was 18. A hole in one on each lane :eyes:.

Hah, Cois. I did make a lane of my own in carpentry at school once :lol:. Needless to say it didn't turn out very well :o:.

My course record was 18...but there were only 12 holes. And some bugger got it to 17 before I went home :irked:.

:lol: Well Rose, over here in the states it is actually hot outside.

That is what we need a pool, i am going to try to sneak into a subdivision close to mine, were they have a small water park. :ninja: If i wanted to go to the ocean it is like an hour and hald drive, from me. :frown: That is why i need a pool

Here we call it Mini-putt and believe it or not it was on the Sports Channel for some years!

The commentator was as dynamic as if it was football and he got famous because of that. :lol: So funny!!!
