Background image of Speed Dial

, ,

Last night, I read a blog entry of Hideto-san about the recent 9.20 weekly, which included the description how to add/change the background image of Speed Dial.

Fine. Then I opened standard_skin to see how it worked, but so many descriptions were there, to set many things. So I just put the below lines to my customized skin.ini, which is based on the Zeus skin, with some modifications, to add Opera6 like background image at the Speed Dial.
The Opera6's old popular image is taken from Opera6 Classics skin, for a while wink

[Speed Dial Widget Skin]
Padding Left = 1
Padding Top = 1
Padding Right = 1
Padding Bottom = 1
Border = 1
Border Color = #a0a0a0
Type = BoxTile
Tile Center = extra_buttons/image.gif
Color =#ffffff

To say the truth, I would like to have such a background images at the empty outside space of cascaded windows, just like good Opera6's days. The present gray empty background is so poor, though it's simple.
I put the image at /extra_buttons, with other customized graphics. Here is a screenshot of it.

Is it the same to change background image of Speed Dial in Opera 9.62?

Perhaps. Skin has been consistent through Merlin and Kestrel for those areas. I actually use this skin for my 9.62.
