Shikine island

I came back from Shikine island and put a new album.

It was very enjoyable weekend short trip. The island is small. I don't know the exact number of population, but supposedly less than 1000. There are a lot of nature, beautiful sea shores and hiking road, no garbage. Yes, during my stay, I could not find any garbage, no cigarette tips, no bottle cans on the ground! When I met small kids on the street, they greet me, saying Hello smile Foods are simple, but fresh. A lot of fishes.
On Saturday, I walked around the northern, western and southern part of island. There was a wonderful hiking road, and after walking about 4 hours, there I arrived a beautiful, natural hot spa. There are many spa around Japan, but many of them are so artificial. I mean, people use pump to drain hot water from far beneath, sometimes over 1000 meters. But on this island, the spa is all natural. Hot water springs from the ground, and wonderfully enough, just around the sea shore! So you don't have to mix water by mankind. Natural blend of sea water and hot water makes real spa you can enjoy!

I wish I could visit this, or another nearby island, in the future soon. We don't have to take vacation to visit there.

Thanks for the comment for the blog entry 1 years ago. In this, 2010's summer, Japan suffered the very bad heat wave. So I did not go out often and could not visit the island again.
No trashes on the ground, that means people do not throw them away, and if they find any on the ground, they will pick them up. That's simple principle, but unfortunately those live in a big city do not do.

BTW, it is not easy to find a trash can on the street or in the subway stations in Tokyo, not because they are so honest and simple, but to protect against terrorism sad That's another story. In this point, Oslo is better. There are a lot of trash cans on the street, and even in the stations.
