Rainy season has finished. Summer has come to Tokyo. July, August and September, we will have tropical days, the lowest temp. is 25 in C, max. 35 (terrible) in this part of Japan.
How can I survive this season? I have been living on this hot islands for many years, so don't worry
This morning, I got up at 5 and got on train at 5:30. It's not very hot in the morning, and the famous Japanese traffic jam doesn't crash me before 7. I arrived at the office before 7, opened the lock of the front door, then started working in the early morning. Working alone in the quite office is comfortable indeed.
Took lunch at half past 11 (we have no canteen in Tokyo!), then leave there before 5. 7 to 5 means I work for 10 hours. Oh, my... Don't blame me.
I can leave office at 4 in the afternoon. But in this Japanese company, we have to work for 8 hours and take at least 1 hour's rest. So I have to stay there for 9 hours, not like the office in Norway.
There is no use for crying over Japanese system at the moment. If I did not know the foreign systems, I didn't envy the people there. OK, I will work. Thank you.
