Opera Playground

you can swim with Opera

Last Friday

, ,

Last Friday, I happened to be at Tokyo Office. Yes, I usually work from home and recently go to the office once in a week or so. There I found several Japanese Opera users came in a room and discussed about coming Opera 9.5 and Opera Dragonfly with marketing guys.
During that period, I sat in front of my PC, and wrote mails and checked some bugs. :worried:

When our manager came into our room to ask us to join the Friday Night Beer, I found almost everyone had already gone there  Anyways, I joined the party. Someone took pictures, so you can view them at Choose Opera Japan's album. Do you want to see me? I was laughing at bottom right at this picture.

It was National Day for Norge, Norway. I wa able to listen to their National Anthem, sung by people at Oslo, through the screen which we used to play Wii

Looks like, but quite different.

Modern browsers have zoom function, but zoom of Opera is something different, by far.

Today, I read an entry by Japanese graduate school student, which uses eminent example to show the difference. Someone who might claim there is no example of the latest Firefox 3, so I took screenshot of 50% zoomed picture with Opera 9.5 weekly and Minefield 3.0 pre.
(The each small image is 50% of its original one, with 2 modern browsers.)

Of course, Opera is left, Minefield(Firefox 3) is right.
The original image is shown at his yesterday's entry.

Tight schedule

In this weekend, I have been very busy. I spread the large files on my desktop, of my PC, checking a lot of files, reading English, referring Japanese counterparts, and so on. What exactly do I treat with? I can't write so much about it.
I hope all of you can enjoy that in the near future.
