As my sticky post states, I use HATENA Diary, weblog service in Japan as my primary blog. HATENA today announces a new start page designed especially for Nintendo DS (Opera) Browser :hat:

You, who can't read Japanese, look at its CSS and JavaScript, within HTML.

opera_ex

,

I've mentioned this small, but very useful, especially for bloggers, tool here long time ago. It's opera_ex, now only for Windows. I and many of Japanese Opera users use it with their Opera.

It doesn't have English instruction manual with it, so many of you don't know. For opera_ex, with customized menu.ini, you can do several useful thing at ease. This is the instruction page written in Japanese.

When you convert the color of some words with mouse or keybord, then select from right click menu, for example, copy text with blockquote, then you can paste

<blockquote cite="URL of that page" title="title of that page">THE COPYED WORDS</blockquote>.

With several options, you can copy and paste like
<q cite="URL">THE COPYED WORDS</q>

 <a href="URL" target="_blank">THE COPYED WORDS</a>

and so on.

I knew it, at the beginning of its birth, some of Opera users here talked on ICQ, tried to make such a kind of tool for Opera, several are engineers, skilled students, so they made it. For a long time, it is on wiki page, and I like to introduced it some day again.

One of makers of opera_ex, recently made another small tool working on Python, opera_conf, and now calls for debuggings. This is his blog.

opera_conf tries to install customized initial files into Opera, just like Ff's extension install procedures. If you like to distribute your customized initial files, you make opcf file at first, and if he/she has opera_conf installed, then with just one click, he/she can install customized initial files. It may be useful when you upgrade Opera, and like to re-edit customized initials, which takes some long time, then opera_conf will be useful for you.

If you are interested in those small programs, get in touch with the author there.

blog in Japanese, so many.

From /.Japan

- State of the Blogosphere, April 2006 Part 2: On Language and Tagging

There are so many blogs written in Japanese, many are very short indeed. Because they are sent by handy phone, just saying 'He/She's so cool', 'Another earthquake's coming' or like that.
Korean,Chinese, and Russian are underestimated, according to the article, then, hey bloggers, learn CJK. (It's just a joke.)

My blog here is always short, you might say. It's because I don't write English so often.

He still claims ...

Retour sur la rumeur Google Opera - Pierre Chappaz, who last month offered the 'rumeur' between Google and OperaASA, diffused the successive, self-defensive article in French.
Remember the 'Operagle' logo there? Now he claims it's just possibilities.

If one of you can't read French, use some translation services. He still claimes it might happen, because

- there was an anouncement of integration Google engine into Opera Mobile,
- Google wants browser, alliances with Firefox and Opera will not be enough,
- he foretold the capture of del.icio.us by Yahoo two weeks beforehand.

so his blog is credible source. That's up to you if you believe his blog or not.
