Firefox 2.0.0.1's update in Japan

, , , ...

I don't care so much about the update of my second browser, Firefox. But of course, I did that. The better security is always quite welcome, in any shape.

In any shape, yes, if they hide it. In the releasenotes, and the exact translation of it into Japanese, the releasenotes in Japanese, they offered the title 'Security fixes' in it.

But at the top page of mozilla.japan, or the release announcement of 2.0.0.1, they did not mention the 'security fixes' at all. Even some Firefox users over here began to say "No" against such an attitude of MozillaJapan.

I am sure Opera or jp.opera never behave like that. It's like a Redmond style indeed! In the future, if Opera have to release the security fixes builds, we, Opera users, do want you not to hide them, and proudly announce the fact to the public.
