Opera, skin
At this time of the development stage, Opera released new skin. There are pros and cons, I know. How about looking for user based good looking skins?
I recommend the below ones, for example.
I personally still use
Zeus 02 with a little customizations.

speed_dial, Opera, skin
Last night, I read a blog entry of
Hideto-san about the recent 9.20 weekly, which included
the description how to add/change the background image of Speed Dial.
Fine. Then I opened standard_skin to see how it worked, but so many descriptions were there, to set many things. So I just put the below lines to my customized skin.ini, which is based on the
Zeus skin, with some modifications, to add Opera6 like background image at the Speed Dial.
The Opera6's old popular image is taken from
Opera6 Classics skin, for a while

[Speed Dial Widget Skin]
Padding Left= 1
Padding Top= 1
Padding Right= 1
Padding Bottom= 1
Border= 1
Border Color= #a0a0a0
Type= BoxTile
Tile Center= extra_buttons/image.gif
Color=#ffffff
To say the truth, I would like to have such a background images at the empty outside space of cascaded windows, just like good Opera6's days. The present gray empty background is so poor, though it's simple.
I put the image at /extra_buttons, with other customized graphics. Here is a screenshot of it.

kyocera, Opera, skin, mobile
...
As
Opera Watch reported, Kyocera's new WILLCOM phone, WX320K has Opera Browser Logo on its cover. That phone has special feature to read feed, store files and pictures, it uses online server to do them. If you get WX320K, you have a license to use that server, at no costs, at least till the year 2010.
It's 15th of February, the debut day of WX320K, so you can access the
Opera Bridge for WX320K page, with your Desktop Opera.
NB. You can open that page with Firefox or IE as well.
To install special widgets, you need id and password for WX320K, so most of you can't use them. But you can get and use kyoceraSkin, offered there, with your Desktop Opera. That skin looks likes one of for OLPC, the active tab is taller than the others, which differs from olpc skin. So share the joy with its skin! Nice idea, isn't it?
