Which Yahoo do you see?

,

Recent contract between Opera and Yahoo! changes default search engine for our desktop browser. Yes, with its default setting, you search the web with Yahoo, instead of Google. I suppose many of you use 9.20 beta1(1), the most recent weekly build.
[1] Yes, we now use BETA1 of 9.20 since last week. Look at your 'Sent' view in M2.

As you see at Preferences, Opera's 'y' search doesn't go to yahoo.com or any other local yahoo direct. It's search/ at http://yahoo.opera.com/
If you click on search/ there, you are redirected to your local yahoo or yahoo.com, it seems.
Then which yahoo do you see? In my case, I see yahoo.co.jp

The default search in the desktop browser will continue to be Google. Perhaps you're referring to the search provider on Speed Dial.

Is that so? I thought it would be. From Johan's anouncement at http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/show.dml/785941 "We're partnering with Yahoo! on both Mobile and Desktop, which explains the new search field. You can of course configure it from search preferences." Does this designate only for Speed Dial? After the clean install of recent desktop weekly, I found the check boxes of Speed Dial and default search for Yahoo checked.
And we have http://yahoo.opera.com/ to help yahoo search now.

I can check again, but as far as I heard Google is staying.
