Kolkata, Dec 8 (PTI) Strongly opposing the proposed nuclear power plant at Haripur in West Bengal's East Midnapore district, a Trinamool Congress MP today said it could not come up in the densely populated area and on multi-crop land.

A day after Manmohan Singh made public the Centre’s decision to go ahead with the nuclear power plant at Haripur in West Bengal’s East Midnapore, Trinamool Congress raised voices of dissent.
