Thailand’s Other Tourist Spot

Have you ever visited Thailand? For the second time around I was again in this lovely tropical country to visit her again and to see what’s to be discovered yet. I am much pretty excited this time around because my first time to visit happened to be their rainy season. But now the sun is up and getting ready for summer. Upon arriving we went straight to their local restaurant and grab something that would fill in our a bit noisy stomach.
After grabbing a bite we went to Central Thailand, were its capital Bangkok is located. The central part is full of Thailand's most ancient temples heritage and battle fields which foreign visitors from all over the world continuously admires and appreciates. The north of Thailand is the birthplace of the early Thai civilizations. Northern people are famous for their hospitality and courtesy, and also noted for there variety of their cultural traditions.
But I guess aside from Thailand's beautiful nature and rich cultures, there will be the other side of it. I am a bit surprised for this matter. Based on what I just experience it seems that only a little percentage of foreign visitors really appreciated the nature and surroundings of Thailand. They come here for a different kind of pleasure, sexual pleasures to be exact. Just my personal opinion, I think this kind of tourism also brings revenue to Thai economy aside from their beautiful nature and tourist spots. Most of these young ladies hang out around tourist areas were foreign visitor and tourist tend to relaxed and have couple of drinks. I got a chance to talk to one of them and she shared me a little of her and some of here friends life who are also into this kind of work. Majority of them came from less fortunate families on some rural areas of Thailand who came to the city. Majority of the girls is separated to their husbands with their babies being left to their parents as they search for easy money to support them. But according from what I have learned the Thai government provides each of their citizen a long term loan for them to get into school, finish college and hopefully to land a decent job and that is the time when they have to pay back what they have loaned to the government. But from what I have observed these girls does not want to get their lives improved at all. They just wanted is easy money that the only way to get them fast is to engaged in sexual activities. They didn’t want a long term job and even a small business of their own to constantly support their living.
