Bugs everywhere

Everything seem goes wrong. Zenwalk in my computer seem buggix, it crashed a few times. Opera does the same thing, it consumes 95% of processor job Homer: Doh!

I think I'll need to install latest version of Zenwalk and waiting for Opera 9.52 a few days more.

Opera Backup Script

, , ,

Inspired from OperaFly and because it couldn't run under linux, I finnaly wrote my own Opera backup script. This will backup .opera directory located in your home directory everytime your computer is started.

#!/bin/sh
SOURCE="/home/sandal/.opera"
TARGET="/home/sandal/.backup"
FILE=`date +%Y-%m-%d-%H-%M`
tar cfzP $TARGET/$FILE.tgz $SOURCE;

I save the script as opera-backup.sh, and set the script to be executed everytime linux is loaded. I'm using Zenwalk and I do this from Autostarted Application. Here is the sample of backup file:

Opera backup files

To restore, simply extract the tgz files onto .opera directory.

Be sure to chmod with +x parameter so this script become executabled.

Sweet Little Bee

Indonesian Heroes in 16 Bit

, , , ...

Here are the heroes from local stories in Indonesia. They're comic characters and I saw these picture painted on canvas in a 16 bit style.

First hero is Si Buta dari Goa Hantu or "The Blind from the Ghost Cave", he goes everywhere with his lovely monkey named Kliwon. Hope PETA doesn't know this story :D

Second hero is Godam, I don't really know this character. I think I never read the comic, I was a baby when this comic issued.

And the last hero is Gundala Putra Petir or "Gundala the Son of Thunder". I think it's an adoptation story of Flash Gordon.

I think the artist has done a great things to draw/paint these comic characters in 16 bit style :up:
