THE CULTURE IN LEBANON AND NORWAY! smile

hiiiii!! smile

There are some people who have asked if I can write more about the culture i Norway and Lebanon, so i will do it now.

Lebanon:

Lebanon is becoming more and more similar to other countries.

The food i Lebanon is similar to the food i Hellas. When someone come to visit you, and you and them will eat dinner together, it is important that you serve them somthing called Tabbouleh, Kebbe, and Lahme naye in arabic.

Here are some pictures of the food:

Tabbouleh! smile

Kebbe! smile

I cant find Lahme naye on google.. smile

In a weddings in Lebanon, they dance dabke (as it is called in Arabic). I will show you a video! smile Almost everyone in Lebanon, know how to dance dabke. This is on the airport in Lebanon wink They dance almost like this in weddings ! smile

The things that is special about the songs in Lebanon is the instruments they use. They use something called Ud, Tableh and Nay in arabic. It is not many countries that use these instruments. The most of the song in Lebanon, is love songs. Here is some photos , and a song in arabic.

This is Ud. smile

This is a Tableh. smile

This is Nay smile

NORWAY:

Norway is a fantastic place to live in! smile I love to live here. Norway is a very cold place and it rains often.

The national dish is "fårekål". The dish get named to the national dish in 1972. "Fårekål" is homely and festive food. It taste better the next day.

Here is a photo:

On the national day, they use something called "bunad". There are many types of "bunader". Some prettier than others. There are for boys and girls. they are really pretty! smile

This "bunad" is used by girls:

This is video of Norwegian dance, on this vidio they are wearing "bunad":

Hai
I like the way you have written it thank you.I have learnt a lot about your culture liked the traditional meals (kebbe and tabbouleh) which made me wanting to test. About the dancing i enjoyed ,it is nice.Traditional outfits they are nicely done and the musical instruments are almost similar to ours.Though i did not understand the words from the song, you can interpret it for me some time (voice of an angel).Thank you it was nicely done.
