swiss cows

During my run today I was thinking about cows! Yes, but the reason is because we got our first frost, the ridge line of Les Prés d'Orvin had a dusting of snow, and the Chasseral was covered. So what is the connection between snow and cows, well there were no cows anymore on the alp where I was running, this is because they take the cows to lower elevations for the winter, mostly because it is dangerous for the cows to try to walk downhill when there is snow on the ground. Most cows are escorted the highlands in October sometime, and in some small towns there is almost a small parade when the cows come back to town. That is a site to see!

a new website?!?sunday long jog

One comment though...another food you dislike is Jell-o...though I'm not sure if that's really a food.
