You have deers running around like we have cats :left:

Being nosy neighbour could be annoying P:

Maybe they are making swimming pool?

San 7. September 2009, 04:49

Apparently the deer come/s there almost everyday. They make their way down to the lake for a drink. The neighbour's is a safe place to rest on the way. No hunters and there is stuff to hide behind.

San 7. September 2009, 04:50

The neighbour is making a shrine for his motorcycle collection...(I asked his mom..she's 90 )

Darko 7. September 2009, 04:54

He seems to have a motorcycle factory, then. A very big collection :eyes:

San 7. September 2009, 04:56

That's only part of it, the rest is in the garage up top.

Darko 7. September 2009, 05:00

Did he ever got a chance to ride them all? At least once per year? :faint:

San 7. September 2009, 05:10

I've never seen him ride any of them. His mom says he'll take one out once or twice a year.

Darko 7. September 2009, 05:12

Waste of money. Well, we all have weird hobbys, I guess

San 7. September 2009, 05:16

We do? What's yours? p:

San 7. September 2009, 05:17

Collecting pokemon cards?

Darko 7. September 2009, 05:23

Stamps. Actually, I was more into that when I was a kid, but I am still taking few here and there.

San 7. September 2009, 05:30

I've never really collected anything. Experience only.

Darko 7. September 2009, 05:32

It can`t be true P:

San 7. September 2009, 05:47

Yes it's true. I never lie.

Fine looking deer. It's amazing how tolerant they can be of people when we let them. I don't know if he'd like the name of the digger though  :cat:

San 7. September 2009, 21:27

Yeah, I thought the name of the digger was kind of funny considering.

You'll find this interesting. My parent's neighbour (on the other side) had a cat that was part bobcat! One day her other cat came home with a little kitten in his mouth. He must have found it in the hills above their home. Anyway, neighbour lady took the kitten to the vet and the vet thought it looked a bit unusual so he ran some tests confirming its ancestry. That cat was so cool, he looked a bit like a Maine Coon cat but bigger. He was also very friendly and he was enamoured with Lola. :D

Adele 8. September 2009, 17:45

Are they sure that it wasn't a full bobcat?? The reason I ask is that bobcats come from a different genus to our pet cats and it's unlikely that they'd be able to produce a viable hybrid. Sounds very cool, anyhow - do you have any photos? I'd love to see them! :cat:

San 8. September 2009, 21:18

No, he was smaller than a bobcat but bigger than a house cat. His coat was long but he had all the tufts and markings of a bobcat. Funny, his name was Rufus (the latin name) The vet did DNA tests and the cat's blood was very different. I'll have to ask for pictures next time I'm at my parents'.
