Cheakamus Lake

Went for a hike to Cheakamus Lake in Garibaldi Provincial Park . I will definitely come back and explore this area in the future. And next year I really want to camp here. It's isolated but not that remote. You have to walk in maybe 4 km to the lakeside campsites. The lake is cold though! But I can only imagine what the sky looks like at night here. Now I just have to find someone to camp with!

This is so beautiful. The kind of a wood and mountains I like :happy:
Well, maybe I could go there next year :whistle: How much it would cost me, besides airplane ticket (1200 EUR :faint: )?

Trees and mountains...stunning, but that blue sky is priceless! :happy: (Maybe I just spent too long in the rain on NW Vancouver Island...)

It will be very cheap except for the air fare. You can forage for berries and roots and fish! And you'll be sleeping in a tent, though I don't know if they make tents long enough for tall guys like you. :lol: (not sure about cheap beer though :rolleyes:)

Adele, it was the most glorious day considering the rainfall the day before. But that's how the trees get so big!

Wait until you've spent 10 hours on a Monarch Airlines flight to Canada :cry: I got very uncomfortable, and I'm 5ft 3! Never again. I mostly use Thompson these days.

Eleven hours in JAL flight from Rome to Tokyo was more than enough, with my legs length it was a hell. There were an elder couple from Japan sitting next to me, very comfortably, looking at me trying to pack myself there :eyes:

Next time I took Lufthansa :whistle:

Nope. I catch cold last week and it got some complications now. She gave me some antibiotics and I hope I will not get bronchitis.
I feel a bit better now, hopefully I will recover by the end of a week :yes:
