is still a fecking (tm) parking ticket!

We went to the opera last night and parked in a garage close to the theatre. To get into the garage we had to prepay, we could not get in unless we paid first. That's it...we..could..not..get..in..unless..we..paid..first! So, what a surprise to find this "courtesy assessment" on the car when we returned. Supposedly, we did not display the parking stub properly. I suppose also , that they pay someone $9.00 an hour to search for cars that haven't displayed their prepaid parking receipt properly. Why do we even have to display the stub if they know that everyone in the garage has already paid? Unless, they just want to make some extra money. Oh, no, that couldn't be, that would be so cynical. But this parking garage is run by the city. Anyway, I've written a letter to said parking dungeon. If it doesn't get results, well, I have another plan!
