And I'm not talking firemen here. 
It's almost 11:00 pm here and the temperature is 28 C.
Today at work, the air conditioning died and it was 30 inside. To get some relief I would go outside (35 C) for a few minutes and come back indoors so it felt cooler! 
I have experienced hotter weather than this, but this is very unusual for Vancouver. One good thing about living in the basement is that it's cool!
One more day of work and then holiday for a week. Beach beach beach.

Yeah yeah, it's colder where you are, but this is Vancouver! It's gonna be -20 in January , I just know it. (oh , and it's a damp cold

Woke up early, well not that early (7:00 a.m.) and decided to go for a wintery walk. Studies prove that a brisk 20 minute walk before eating burns more fat than a longer workout later in the day. Well, it was dark and cold (-8) so I had to pep myself somehow!

it's snowing again! Looks like it will continue throughout the day. Weatherforcasters are now predicting a very snowy winter for Vancouver. Colder than average temperatures coupled with our wet climate = more of the white stuff!

It's December 9th and I've finally put the winter tires on my car. This feels very strange because it's not particularly cold here, lots of rain. But my family lives in the interior of the province and I'll need them in a couple of weeks. Better to do it before the big rush. Then...I looked at the weather report and guess what? Hee hee, sorry Mr. Ghost ...the white shtuff is coming! Some of us NLB's actually like it!

Mike Lake at Golden Ears Provincial Park. We went there to fish but there wasn't much action. The sky was blue and the water clear though. Colours, shadows, reflections.
