After my swim this morning I headed over to the hot tub to relax and chat with Olga . Olga Kotelko is my hero. She's 90 and the top track athlete in her age group in the world. She's not modest at all about her accomplishments either. Today she brought in Hello magazine (Canada's version of people) On the front cover, the royals. YAWN. But on the back cover! There she was, doing the long jump at the Sydney Masters Games where she won 10 gold medals and set 9 more world records. I believe those records broken were hers anyway, but no matter, she is getting faster and stronger each year!

Next bit of excitement for her will be carrying the torch in the Olympic relay in February! This is what sport is all about.

She's so fun to talk to also. The pride in her voice when she's talking about her latest accomplishments brings tears to my eyes. Sometimes she brings in all her medals to show off as well!
