the last post

Well, after my blog on xdesign.com.au got hacked (thanks wordpress!) I'm back on opera.com until I could be bothered writing up a new site. Knowing my general care factor, that could take a while. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with the site. All my work these days is in php5, and hostrocket seem to have forgotten to upgrade my account, so I'm sort of stuck. I suppose I could work on santouras.com but once more, I'm not really sure what to put up for a personal site.

I am working on a bit of code which will hopefully help out at work a bit more. Currently we are using a "lovely" piece of software called Goldmine, which has pretty much every quirk known to mankind. We are stuck using it however due to its good features, which no other crm/email client seems to replicate, for what reasons I do not know.

Hopefully I can get that project on track as it has been mulling around for a few months, and I also have my car that I'm fiddling with to get going. There is a firm deadline on that now of end of august, and that is just around the corner, so I'm increasingly needing to pull the finger out, which appears to be a recurring theme in my life right now...

Wow, opera9 tp2 is very cool, and has quickly become my primary browser. Impressive stuff boys!

I can't say that I'm overly happy with the new RSS icon that is doing the rounds of controversy. I'm of the opinion that it looks like some kind of wireless icon, and altho standards are great, opera should at least use a red implimentation of it.

Just started playing WoW as well, hoping that I don't become a hopeless addict to that, as I've already seen one of my friends fall into the trap of no sleep and lots of levelling up. I also have so many other games to try and finish as well, RE4, fifa/nba/nhl 2006, battallion wars, nfs:mw, b&w2..... argh! To not have to work
