About
SARAG is the voice of the South Acton Neighbourhood (SAN), situated in the London Borough of Ealing. We are a residents association, established in 1997, representing about 5,200 people living in some 2,000 homes.South Acton Neighbourhood has many good attributes; it has good local schools, excellent transport links and a strong community. Half our residents have lived here for over 10 years.
Our aim now is to establish a Tenant Management Cooperative (TMC). SARAG recently served a Right to Manage notice on Ealing Council, the local housing authority, and is a member-in-development of the National Federation of Tenant Management Organisations (NFTMO).
SARAG has just won a Test of Opinion with 78% of those voting in favour of us entering into negotiations with the London Borough of Ealing to develop a Tenant Management Cooperative for South Acton.
